Enjoy My Origin
Uniwerytet Mikolaja Kopernika, Torun, Poland

So, this is short story about my project, in not-too-big-city in Poland, Torun...
With about 200,000 people population, Torun is a student city, where everything here are very cheap. You will get so many discount if youre a student, and under 26 years old. From mass transport ticket, flat, food, and many more.
Ever heard about Nicolaus Coppernicus? That famaous astronom who found the heliocentris theory (earth, and other planets turn around sun)? Yes, he was born in Torun. And thats why almost all the things in Torun are about Nocolaus Copernicus...
Torun, which also very famous with its old town, got a Nicolaus Copernicus sculpture there. And also, still in old town, there is a Planetarium, where we can see some kind of astronomics things and anything..

This project in AIESEC LC Torun UMK named Enjoy My Origin. This project is about cultural, where all of the trainees will give some information about their origin country. And of course, becos im from Indonesia, I give the presentation about Indonesia. From identity, architecture, religion, traditional clothes, food, and anything. *i’ve sent you my presentation*

There are 6 trainees in this project. Me from Indonesia, a boy from India, an Egyptian boy, a Brazilian girl, one girl from Mexico, and one last girl is from Rumania. This project held for 6 weeks, and each week, we gave our presentation to Elementary School and Junior High School student. One week for one school. So that, there are 6 schools totals.

Me, with my team mates. From right to left (Me, Brazilian, Rumanian, Mexican, and Indian)

All of these schools are public schools. And the one that made me lil surprise is, all of that public schools are looks like privet school in Indonesia. They got very goot facilities, and all things. And for Polish citizen, all student in public school will not spent any grosz (cent in Polish currency, Zloty) at all, or totally FREE!

Me, gave the presentatiom about Indonesia for Elementary School student

For first 3 weeks, we stayed in flat that AIESEC LC Torun rented for the trainees. And the most interesting in this project is, for the last 3 weeks, we will stay in Polish family! Host family! Thats the most interesting for me!
